Real-World RFID. Trust the Experts.

The Atlanta Technical Center (ATC) is a resource to help end users, retailers, tag converters, systems integrators and other stakeholders fully understand their RFID application at the tag interaction level.
We have a comprehensive array of equipment from spectrum analyzers, material network analyzers, anechoic chambers, and application level conveyance systems. We have developed a full suite of test processes, equipment and test protocols to evaluate tag performance and provide a scientific basis for performance comparisons and product recommendations.
At the ATC, we employ a test methodology hierarchy of primary, secondary and tertiary test systems that are calibrated and traceability maintained across all levels to ensure test result repeatability and accuracy.

The quality that drives real world performance measurements is the ability to model the real world in your test environment. At Avery Dennison’s Atlanta Technical Center, we use a combination of real-world equipment and materials coupled with laboratory hardware and software tools to enable the modeling of expected tag performance.
We have the facilities to test to a customer’s or partner’s specific use-case in a wide variety
of applications and can model both the current and future states of utilizing RFID in their
applications in order to derive business case and efficiency metrics.

Avery Dennison can conduct training sessions ranging from RFID basics to general hardware use to specific customer application use-case considerations. Our highly skilled technical experts routinely share their knowledge with end users, converters and systems integrators from around the world.
Avery Dennison application engineers are regularly called on to help customers evaluate their RFID tag needs including tagged materials, hardware and system set ups. They have experience with numerous and varied RFID uses including retail packaged goods, pharmaceutical packaging, electronic media, and myriad closed loop asset tracking applications adding an important perspective to your visit.

At the Avery Dennison RFID Atlanta Technical Center located in Flowery Branch, Georgia, we have tailored the physical facilities of our application engineering laboratory to be in line with our mission of helping end users, retailers, tag converters, system integrators and other RFID stakeholders to fully understand their RFID implementation. A spacious multimedia presentation / conference area is appended to our lab area for convenient access to hands-on equipment and a presentation forum for knowledge sharing and group activities.
