The AD-709 is an RFID media management inlay ideal for library book tagging and media asset tracking applications. The AD-709 is ISO 15693 and ISO 18000-3 mode-1 compliant. The AD-709 operates at the International Science and Medical Radio Frequency of 13.56MHz. It is a battery free tags which utilizes the NXP SLI chip offering 896 bits of user memory to enable Electronic article surveillance, Application Family Identifier security functionality, Library check-on check out, Inventory tracking and self checkout functionality.
The 47 mm x 47mm footprint was established to meet the applications read range requirements through door entryways while still being small enough to remain inconspicuous within a library book.
Format available in The AD-709 is available as a dry inlay (PET layer with metal antenna and integrated circuit attached and over-laminated with a final PET layer for added environmental protection) and a pressure sensitive backed inlay design for integration into label conversion processes
