The AD-840 is one of the strongest read range performer in the NXP G2x inlay portfolio. The AD-840 employs Avery Dennison’s sloop technology which delivers unique read field properties and provides a durable antenna that can withstand more physical abuse than a traditional dipole antenna due to its increased antenna surface area. The inlay is designed for a wide range of applications from aviation to automotive. Tuned for global frequency operations across many dielectric substrates, it retains good performance across a wide variety of materials and applications. Formatted for narrow edge leading, the AD-840 is also a good candidate for passenger baggage handing applications. The AD-840 RFID inlay comes with a factory programmed and locked unique ID in addition to 240 bits EPC memory with optional 512 bits extra user memory. Utilizing the NXP G2x chip platform, the AD-840 delivers more memory, has a pre-loaded serial ID number and yields strong read ranges. The AD-840 is EPCglobal C1G2 1.0.9 certified and compliant to EPCglobal C1G2 1.1.0 and ISO 18000-6C.
