The AD-805 delivers powerful edge-on reading performance for item level tagging. The inlay possesses unusual read capability in that the best read range is achieved with the inlay’s edge facing the reader (note; for most dipole UHF tags, edge on is the worst orientation for read range performance). In addition, the AD-805 packs strong read ranges for its small size, making it ideal for space constricted applications in item level tracking.
By virtue of having no null reading spots as you approach the tag from any angle, you reduce the probability of no reads due to tag to reader orientation. By utilizing the EPC compliant 96 bit Impinj Monza 3 integrated circuit, the AD-805 provides strong read ranges which helps to increase system level data capture reliability and allows you to program tags at almost the same distance you can read tags for greater degrees of freedom in your programming operations. The AD-805 has been optimized for US (FCC) frequencies 902-928MHz and is functional utilizing global frequencies.
